BORN SINGER TAKING MZANSI BY STORM.
Everyone is born with a talent, but only a few really pursue their calling for some reason. Kagiso Makhubela otherwise known as Komplexity is a soulful/deep house artist who has worked with great names in the industry including the likes of Lulo Cafe, Fistaz Mixwell and Maphorisa just to name a few. As a reward for his inspiring work he has appeared on SABC 1, Metro FM and Power FM amongst other media platforms.

2019 he is planning a complete take over and we caught up with him to reflect on his journey up to this point.

Dave. : Welcome to Tsa Pitori and thanks for joining us.
Komplexity: Thank you for having me I’m glad to be here.
Dave. : Which projects have you worked on in the past and currently working on?
Komplexity: I worked on a project with Dj Fortee in 2013 which dropped on House Afrika Sessions 3, that was when we started getting the recognition. Also worked with Lulo Cafe on his album(XXXV), I was also featured on Beatmochini’s album just to name a few. Currently doing songwriting for certain artists who are dropping this year and I’m working on my first Ep for the year titled “Memories Never Fade”, that I worked on with Dj Bakk3.
Dave. : What has been the highlight of your career?
Komplexity: Opening the stage for Cassper Nyovest at the Gold Rush Freedom Day Event. Also, being in studio with Nastee Nev, working on his next album. I enjoyed working with Khutsi Malala who assisted with some PR work.
Dave. : Where can your fans catch you perform and what are you working on?
Komplexity: I’ll be doing a listening session soon so for more info the fans can like my page Komplexity SA on Facebook. There’s several projects I’m working on. I’m working with Omax FNX from Morocco on his Ep that will be dropping soon. I am also with Dj Fortee working on his album which I’m featured on and also wrote a song for one of the artists on his album just to name a few of the projects involved with.
Dave. : What would you say to upcoming artists out there looking up to you?
Komplexity: Besides having talent, one needs to learn the business side of things which I’m still doing. Try make as many connections as you can to be consistent. Lastly Keep The Fire Burning which is my motto.
