J&J PROJECTS MAKING YOUR HOUSE A BETTER PLACE TO STAY.

John Mohashoa better known as Jay Jay is a 26 year old entrepreneur born at  Garankuwa hospital and was raised by a single mother in Soshanguve. He has four other older siblings’ one brother and three sisters. He grew up in an underprivileged family which forced him to pursue entrepreneurship while still in school so as to generate extra income.

Mohashoa used to fix broken gadgets for his family and friends and as the word spread he started fixing broken gadgets for the community at large. Beside the extra income, he gained satisfaction in realizing that he could diagnose and fix broken gadgets. He left Tsogo Seconary School after grade 9 to pursue his carpentry skills at Tshwane South Collage. Shortly after completing his course he was given an opportunity to install kitchen units in a place called Leopard Rock situated in Rosslyn. Along with two other friends they completed the project and it lead to the birth of their company J & J Projects.

J & J Projects specialize in interior design of commercial and industrial buildings and have been in operation since 2015. The company produce modernized built in units, built in wall wardrobes, contemporary plasma stands, ceiling installation and many other interior design projects.  They pride themselves in workmanship true to the company’s’ slogan that says ‘Making your house a better place to stay’. The company is growing fast which means they will soon realize their goal of participating in the eradication of poverty in their community by hiring more employees. They will soon be installing cabinets at a hospital in Limpopo and this is according to them one of their biggest projects so far.

Mohashoa believes that growing a business is like nursing an infant. The entrepreneur makes a lot of sacrifices for the sake of retaining customers and attracting new business. “Entrepreneurship, like any other thing worth doing comes with its own set of challenges.” he said.
