MAMS FASHION MAESTRO.

Elias Mpho Selepe (25) is an entrepreneur from Mamelodi East who has a clothing brand called BEA (Beauty Entitled Angel). BEA also has an entertainment agency and hosts events. It was formed in 2016. BEA strives to change the fashion industry for local brands and influence young black people in business to believe that anything is possible.

“BEA has become popular because of it’s unique fashion sense, designs and quality that it produce.” Said Selepe. Things haven’t always been easy for the young man because of challenges like target market, sales and discouragements but he never gave up. “I was inspired by Galxboy as it was one of the best local brands back in 2014.” He says.

Selepe has always been business orientated as he was selling candy during his high school years. This year he is planning to open his first store in Mamelodi and in 5 years he would like to see himself opening stores around the country and collaborating with one of the French brands like Loius Vuitton. #ladi_jaja?
