TEENAGERS WITH TRUTH A BEACON OF HOPE FOR GIRLS IN SOSHANGUVE.
Ntsako Ngomane (16) the founder and chairperson of Teenagers With Truth is still in high school Grade 11. She formed the drive to help teenagers in need by collecting sanitary producfs in large quantities and making donations to girls especially teenagers who are in need and vulnerable around the community of Soshanguve.

Despite the much needed and welcomed move by the South African government to make sanitary products tax-free, many poor and low working class woman and girls who menstruate continue to struggle to purchase sanitary products.
“I sat down this year and put my mind to it since some teenagers came to me and asked for help before I started the organisation that’s when I realised that some people go through a lot and I was happy that I can help those who are in need.” Ngomane said. She said that she realised the importance of helping people after her mother went sick back in 2016 and because of the help she got she realised why it was important helping someone in need.

“I started this organisation earlier this year. The organisation is about helping those who are less fortunate and the reason I started it is because I saw that Covid-19 pandemic caused difficulties in families and other children felt isolated since their parents cannot afford toiletries and food. So I decided to stand firm in helping this innocent souls,” She said.
She said she saw it appropriate to start and establish Teenage With Truth as to break the stereotype of young girls laughing at each other during needy times instead of helping out. The Soshanguve born and bred young women is also a member of Thusanag Non-Profit organisation which aims to help victims of any type of abuse including sexual abuse. #ladi_jaja?
