President Cyril Ramaphosa, has deprived us of a chance to a great TV moment. Mr President declined the invitation to debate with the opposition party leader Mmuisi Maimane ahead of the general elections. Forget the importance of the debate, and imagine the unscripted drama that would’ve taken place. Ramaphosa who is always “shocked” to hear and witness the poor conditions of ordinary South Africans live in versus the eager Mmuisi Maimane who is gunning to unseat him as the president in the general elections.
Perhaps Mr President has built himself a high fence, that he is clueless of the daily conditions of most South Africans. This would’ve been a perfect opportunity for him to “catch up”. Side note: can someone please brief Mr President, so he is not shocked by the living conditions on his next visits.

If there’s anything we have learnt, following the 2016 local elections, is coalition governance doesn’t work and Tshwane Municipality is a good example. The DA/ EFF metro that was once hailed as the best, has now lost its glory. In a recent report the metro was rated as one of the worst municipality. Whilst former mayor, Solly Msimanga took pride on the work he did and has said that, he has saved Tshwane. His precedent Steven Mokgalapa sang a different tune on Power breakfast and said that he has inherited a mess from the previous administration.
Whilst some of us were indulging the Easter Bunny feast twitter was ablaze, while #FillUpPeterMokaba stadium was a flop.
Tweeps had a front row seat of a showdown between the media mogul Bonang Matheba and the DA’s MP Phumzile van Damme. The twar, broke out when a the DA’ Chief whip in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature mocked the Queen and said that she was in charge of the ruling party’s marketing campaign, referencing to the spelling errors on the party’s posters and grammatical errors in the first edition of her book.
Although the Queen has previously laughed at herself for the grammatical error in her book, she was annoyed by the tweet. Phumzile found herself blocked after heated exchanged of tweets. Lesson1: do not involve yourself in something that has nothing to do with you.The Queen also tweeted that she was tired of being bullied.

Benny’s fill up concert, was the biggest flop and he has no one but himself to blame. Who dares to compete with the biggest gathering in Christian calendar. The concert that was scheduled to take place during the Easter weekend and failed dismally, with only 100 people in attendance.

Another dash of #BlackMagic sparkle goes to Caster Semenya. The gold medalist has been named one of the TIME magazine 100 most influential people of 2019. Halala Caster halala.
