The 6th administration is nothing short of drama and it has come with jaw dropping moments than applauses. The resignation of Members in Parliament seems to be an ever growing trend, the recent pair to join the long list of members of Parliament who have bowed down is former ministers Jeff Radebe and Siyabonga Cwele .The list includes former ministers Melusi Gigaba and Nomvula Mokonyane who have been implicated in the Commission of state Inquiries.

There is a new Premier in the Northern Cape and he walks the talk,   Premier Zamani Saul dubbed ‘No blue lights Premier’ delivered on his promise, to cut spending on luxurious cars for his provincial executives and rather use the money to buy ambulances in the province. On Tuesday, he took to twitter to announce the good deed “today 27 new ambulances have been released. This is the first batch of 63 ambulances. We are still resolute, no new cars for Premiers and MECs, let’s buy more ambulances”.

Tshwane mayor Stephen Mokgalapa celebrated his 100 days in mayoral office by outlining his achievements since his takeover in February.  In a media brief in Centurion, Mokgalapa who has once said that, he inherited a mess from the previous administration boasted that his greatest achievement was closing the controversial Glad Africa deal.

He also mentioned that his “I am Tshwane” campaign has enabled him to share his vision with residents of Tshwane. The mayor also mentioned, the purchase of 73 emergency vehicles, and increased number of WiFi spots amongst his achievements, however the Mayor didn’t mention the water woes in Hammanskraal after he declared the water safe for human consumption, could this mean that the quality of water in Hammanskraal hasn’t improved and isn’t safe for human consumption.

Caster Semenya will be able to run without taking medication to lower her testosterone levels, this comes after the Swiss Supreme Federal Court ordered the IAAF to lift the controversial rule that dictates that women like Caster should take medication to lower testosterone levels or they will be allowed to compete with men. IAAF is clearly subjecting women with higher testosterone levels to sexual orientation. Caster’s orientation has been under public scrutiny since her health records were leaked to the media in 2009.
