COOLER BOXING DAY CELEBRATES 10 YEARS IN STYLE.

The Cooler Boxing Day will be hosted on the 26th of December at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville, Pretoria West. The theme for this year is ‘All White’ and a raffle will be drawn to win a Grand i10 to celebrate this milestone.
The Cooler Boxing Day phenomenon began 10 Years ago as a small gathering of a few close friends and the event has increased its attendance numbers to thousands. The event thrives off the historic culture of the community to get together and attract people from various areas to join in on their festivities.
Some of the headlining artists and DJs this yearinclude Cassper Nyovest, Lamiez Holworthy (Live Amp), DJ Sumbody, Nasty C, DJChristos, OK Malum Kool Kat, DJ PH and many more.
“The event isn’t just about having fun but also involves empowering the youth by creating jobs for them. This year 103 jobs will be created in order to host the memorable event. 78 of the 103 posts will be for the ground staff working at the event. In addition to the internal numbers, 290 external staff will be hired for security purposes and the various stalls” said Tebatso Kiewiet, Planning Committee Member of the Cooler Boxing Day.
The Cooler Boxing team believes in creating an exceptional experience for its customers and the 10th Annual Cooler Boxing Day promises to entertain attendees, to be hospitable and to ensure that the crowd is safe while having fun.
