Minding the gap hosted Mr and Miss Garankuwa for the first time on Saturday, 5 October coordinated by Tsietsi Mathibedi and Tshegofatso Molobi. “we want to empower and promote teens ,we want to shift their focus from Teenage pregnancy, substance and alcohol abuse in addition we also want to increase their confidence and unlock their true potential, said Minding the gap.
The winners are from Ga-Rankuwa and surrounding areas. Prizes included 1year hair voucher and hampers sponsored by SOFNFREE &Bontlephepha hair and beauty studio ,photoshoot and Portfolio sponsored by Future stars media. In addition the winners will serve 1 year community service with Minding the gap.
The following walked away winners on the day Mr Teen Garankuwa King Title Oarabile Molotjwa 18 years old, Miss Teen Garankuwa Kamogelo Kaole Queen title 19 years old, 1st prince Tumelo Kotelo 18 years old, 2nd prince Ipeleng Mafokoane 13 years, 1st princess Lesego Malatsi 16 years old, 2nd princess Lemogang Bokaba 19 years old, Miss Personality Garankuwa Gomodiwang Ratsoane.
