SAMC TO DONATE GROCERIES AND BUILD A CLINIC IN WINTERVELDT.
South African Muslim Council (SAMC) is gravely concerned by the high unemployment rate which continues to skyrocket. The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in retrenchment of many workers and lines of poverty levels are at record high. Our communities are in dire need and seek urgent relief.

SAMC in collaboration with the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia has been assisting 10 300 needy families before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and has resolved to increase the numbers with more families receiving assistance.
The South African Muslim Council hereby invites members of the media to join us for a Poverty Alleviation Programme as we donate groceries and a sod turning ceremony of a Community Clinic to be build and donated to the government.

The event will be held as follows:
Date: 27 February 2021

Venue: Umveliqangi Jum’a masjid,
1658 Bushveld Road Winterveldt, Mabopane, City of Tshwane
