Good News Community Radio

GNCR is a Biblical, faith based dynamically driven radio Ministry of passionate believers seeking to fulfil a God given purpose to proclaim the Gospel transforming the community and establishing the Kingdom of God. Based in the heart of Canelands in Verulam, which is North of Durban, South Africa, Good News Community Radio station is a talk radio station strategically placed to serve the surrounding community.

We are driven and enthused by our passion for sharing the Good News from above in English, IsiZulu, Afrikaans as well as in Indian venecular languages. With a deep-rooted desire to heed the call from our Saviour and forerunner, the Lord Jesus Christ, we make it our purpose to go forth with the Great Commission.

Found in the Holy Bible, the Great Commission is described in the book of Matthew 28:19 to 20 'And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" Amen'.

The station is guided by a Board of directors., kept afloat by the faithful management and staff who volunteer their time and resources. Our radio programs, sermons and carefully selected radio programs from our partners are broadcast on the frequency 93.6 FM in KZN.
